Find what can make a buyer say no. Fix what you can. Be open about the rest.
We see your business the way a careful buyer sees it.
For owners of small businesses who are getting ready to sell. A broker looks for a buyer. An accountant does your accounting. We look at your business as a buyer does. In one report, we show what can make a buyer say no or offer less, and what each point means for your deal. We also show what you can fix, and what to tell a buyer openly.
From €150 to €400, depending on the layers you choose. A layer is one part of the check. Layer 1 costs €200, layer 2 €150, layer 3 €50. Layer 3 needs layer 1 or 2. All three cost €400. We charge you only when we deliver the report.
Sending a request is free. No card. No documents.
What buyers find
Four examples from our sample report. The sample is about a made-up café. All findings in it are examples.
-
We found
Guests keep naming the owner as the reason they come.
What a buyer can say
“If you leave, the guests will leave.” A buyer can fear that, and walk away.
How it can lower the price
They can offer to pay part of the price later, and only if sales do not fall.
-
We found
The annual accounts for one year were filed seven months after the deadline.
What a buyer can say
“What else is overdue?” A buyer can stop trusting your other documents.
How it can lower the price
A buyer can put the deal off until every document is checked, and can ask for a lower price because of the risk.
-
We found
The domain name (the web address of the site) is registered to the owner personally, not to the business.
What a buyer can say
“So the website is not part of the deal.” It is not clear to a buyer what they are buying.
How it can lower the price
A buyer can offer less, or ask you to move the domain name to the business before the deal.
-
We found
Some of what a buyer is told about the café still gives the old address and the old opening hours.
What a buyer can say
“Is this place still open?” It is a small point, but it adds doubt to the points above.
How it can lower the price
A buyer who doubts one detail starts to doubt the rest, and asks for a lower price.
For each finding, the report says what you can fix and what to tell a buyer openly. Every report also has a 90-day plan of fixes.
What we check and what it costs
Three parts of the check. You can take one, two or all three. Layer 3 is sold only together with layer 1 or 2.
Tick the parts you want. They also appear in the form below.
-
€200
Layer 1 — Digital footprint
What a careful buyer checks about your business and about you as its owner: your legal standing and filings, disputes and debts, who owns the website and the domain, your reputation, and how the business looks online.
-
€150
Layer 2 — Your figures, read as a buyer would read them
The warning signs a buyer often finds. For each one: what you can fix, and what to tell a buyer openly before the sale. We show your profit as a buyer is likely to count it, with each adjustment: costs that will not repeat, your own pay, rent at market price. You send your accounts or tax returns, or the figures themselves, after our email “Order confirmed”.
-
€50
Layer 3 — Competitors
Sold only with layer 1 or 2.Your main competitors by name, with their rating, number of reviews and prices. For a café or a clinic, these are the competitors closest to you. If you sell on online platforms, they are the main sellers in your category, in the country of most of your sales. You get three objections a buyer will raise when comparing your business with them. For each, we give the facts behind it and what you can do before the sale.
All three together —€400

See what you will get
The report starts with one of four verdicts.
- ReadyA buyer finds almost nothing to object to.
- Ready after fixesNo finding would stop a sale by itself. A buyer can still raise some points. You can start fixing them now.
- Fix firstAt least one finding could change the buyer’s decision. Fix it, then offer the business for sale.
- Do not sell nowThe problems are too big to fix before a sale. We suggest you do not offer the business for sale now.
- Every fact in the report comes with the proof behind it.
- Your business stays confidential. We never contact your buyers, brokers, staff, customers, suppliers or landlord about you.
- We never work for the other side of your deal.
Questions
1. Why KENIDO, if I have a broker or an accountant?
We do a different job: we look at your business through a buyer’s eyes, before the sale, while you can still fix things.
2. What do you look at?
Your business, and you as its owner. For layer 3, also your competitors as businesses.
3. Do you work for the buyer?
No. We check this when we accept the order. If we find a conflict later, we stop the work, and you pay nothing.
4. What do I need to send, and when?
You send documents only after our email “Order confirmed”. Before that, send nothing. The email has a list: what to send for layer 1 and for layer 2. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) applies from the moment you send your request: Read the NDA.
5. Who checks the report, and who sees it?
A person at KENIDO checks every finding and signs every report. You receive the report. You decide whether to show it to a broker, an accountant or a buyer. Who receives your data is described in the Privacy Policy, section 8.
6. I sell on online platforms. Is layer 3 right for me?
Yes, if you sell on online platforms. We name your main competitors in your category, in the country of most of your sales.
